Will Speace, Founder
Columbia Junction Car Wash is a small slice of the American Dream.
Will Speace always wanted to own his own business and be his own boss. After a long and successful career in the manufacturing industry he decided to make that dream a reality. Will researched the opportunities and arrived at a decision - he would combine his business acumen with a lifelong love of cars to provide a service that everybody needs - a clean car done right. Always generous and quick to help - the service side of the Car Wash business suited Will like a glove. The hard work paid off and in October 1991 Columbia Junction Car Wash officially opened it's doors to the public.
Born and raised in Maryland, Will graduated from the University of Maryland and throughout his life was always active in the community - from his school to his church and his family. He was a huge fan of all the local sports teams (Orioles, Colts and Ravens) but his beloved Terps always brought a twinkle to his eye and held a special place in his heart.
"The Wash" was conceived as a true family operation and that spirit continues to this day as his wife and 2 sons continue to own and run the Columbia Junction Car Wash. It's no cliche to say that Will's dream is still alive.
